Cyprus Active is owned and managed by Richard and Amy Fairley. Both are keen hikers with a love of the outdoor life. After having trekked across the Alps, Slovenia and Slovakia, they first came to Cyprus in 2004, this time planning a more conventional holiday. Whilst laying on the beach one day they looked up at the beautiful Beşparmak Mountain range, and decided they just had to put their their hiking boots on again and go exploring.
They quickly realised the potential Northern Cyprus has to offer other walkers. Cyprus couldn’t be more perfect for a walking, mountain biking or horse riding holiday. It really has it all: stunning natural beauty; scented pine woods, which in the Spring-time are carpeted with wild flowers and orchids; a profusion of bird-life; fairy-tale mountain top castles and churches; lovely little inns and restaurants and of course the famous Turkish Cypriot hospitality, in Cyprus you will always be welcomed with a warm smile wherever you go.

Now in 2010, Cyprus Active have added more to their offer, Amy is a British Horse Society qualified instructor and Richard is an off-road mountain-biking enthusiast, Cyprus Active are now proud to offer their customers horse riding and mountain bike day-trips and holidays.
